Reopening of angling on the Margaree River
Antigonish, Nova Scotia – September 10, 2024 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) wishes to inform the public that recreational angling for all species of fish will reopen on the Margaree River (NS), following improvements in water temperatures.
This reopening will be in effect TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2024 at 4PM and will remain in place until further notice.
The lifting of restrictions is in line with the strategy implemented in collaboration with local partners to respond to warm water conditions.
