Beyond fish: Social outcomes of Maritimes region atlantic salmon hatcheries and stocking programs through a social-ecological systems lens

MSA is pleased to announce that Michael Fabiano and Dr. Hannah Harrison have published an article based on research conducted in Margaree, among other locations across the Maritime Provinces.

 

Their article “Beyond fish: Social outcomes of Maritimes region Atlantic salmon hatcheries and stocking programs through a social-ecological systems lens” explores the array of outputs besides the release of fish that hatcheries facilitate- including social and ecological impacts.
